MUNK International
March 14, 2026 — MUNK International was recently held with approximately 90 participants in attendance. Following the previous Japanese-language session, the designated theme for this conference was "Animal Rights."
Active Debate in English
Despite the challenging environment of an all-English forum, students remained undeterred. Participants thought and spoke critically in English, frequently raising their placards to engage in active discussion throughout the day.
The most impressive aspect of the event was the students' level of enthusiasm. Thanks to thorough pre-conference research, the discussions were lively and the proceedings moved forward smoothly from start to finish.
With both the Japanese and International sessions now concluded, students will participate in reflection meetings to articulate what they have learned. This process aims to turn their experiences into a foundation for future activities.
We look forward to seeing these students continue to lead and grow the Model United Nations program at our school.
