The Hague Model United Nations
Nineteen students from our school participated in the Model United Nations conference held in The Hague, Netherlands.
This assembly brings together roughly 3,000 people from all over the globe and is widely recognized as an exceptionally high-level simulation among international conferences.
For this event, our students participated as the Ambassador of Mexico and the Ambassador of the UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund), debating international challenges from their respective diplomatic stances. Whether delivering speeches in English or taking part in Q&A sessions, many were seen confidently making their voices heard despite the tense atmosphere of an international stage.
Furthermore, during the conference period, they also did some sightseeing within The Hague, visiting historical and international facilities including the International Court of Justice.
Experiencing the actual atmosphere of an international city firsthand provided a valuable learning experience that simply cannot be gained inside a traditional classroom.
Participating in this Model United Nations has undoubtedly served as a vital first step for each student to think and act as a member of global society.
We expect them to leverage this experience in their future learning and career paths, growing into global citizens connected with the world.
