After-school Kumon Class After-school Kumon Class

The "After-School Classroom" serves as the central hub for Kumon Method learning at the academy, with instruction provided by dedicated Kumon Method instructors. Mathematics is a required subject for 7th and 8th graders, while English and Japanese can be selected as elective subjects for study.

Study sessions are held once a week. During the first semester of the 7th grade, students study on a designated day of the week assigned to each class. However, from the second semester of the 7th grade onward, students study on a day of the week of their own choosing. This arrangement is designed to balance studies with club activities. For instance, the Soccer Club designates Mondays, the Basketball Club designates Tuesdays, and so forth, with each club activity establishing its own study day. There are no club activities on designated Kumon study days; instead, students go to the after-school classroom to immerse themselves in Kumon Method learning.

Although the classroom session occurs only once a week, homework is assigned daily. Continuous daily learning forms the core foundation of the program.
