Our School's Career Guidance Philosophy

Our school implements a curriculum that stands apart from standard "college preparatory guidance" or "exam coaching," which focus solely on getting students into universities. We prioritize how students can acquire the strength to succeed as functioning members of society and the power to forge their own life paths, providing education aimed at the self-realization of the "self they wish to become."

Yellow Zone

It is essential to encourage students to contemplate their future visions—what kind of person they want to become and how they wish to live. Searching for the "self they want to become" while reflecting on oneself and engaging in dialogue with friends and teachers is a vital process in creating a solid sense of self and acquiring "independence" and "rich individuality." Therefore, we emphasize motivation for "self-discovery" by conducting "Dormitory Experience Programs" and "overnight events." We also position club activities, school events, volunteer work, and even educational lecture series for parents as crucial components of our career guidance. We believe that humanistic education lies at the very foundation of career development.

Green Zone

While learning about various professions to explore the "self they want to become," students are shown various options available after graduating from university or graduate school, clarifying how these paths connect to society and personal fulfillment. Based on this, we provide "career advancement guidance" that encourages students to consider what path is best for realizing their goals, helps them identify necessary subjects and appropriate university departments, and enables them to clarify the specific academic fields they wish to pursue.

Blue Zone

While keeping the "self they wish to become" and their "desired career path" at the forefront of their minds, we form teams centered around grade-level faculty to devote our full efforts to exam preparation. We provide practical guidance not only on how to collect university entrance information, examine target schools, and study for exams, but also through the use of mock exam materials and original "Career Resources" created independently by our Career Department. We also provide meticulous counseling that includes mental support for examinees. Furthermore, we raise awareness through career seminars hosted by the department, "exam experience sessions" featuring graduates, and opportunities for 11th-grade students to attend university lectures via PC or by visiting campuses directly.
