International Understanding DAYS International Understanding Days

"International Understanding DAYS" is held every year in March over a span of three days. During this period, students engage in presentation sessions that foster international understanding, attend lecture series delivered by individuals actively working on the global stage, and take English proficiency assessment examinations.

The student presentation segments are organized and managed primarily by the International Understanding Committee. Students in the 7th and 8th grades deliver speech presentations, 9th graders provide representative reports on their Japanese Culture Experience modules, and 10th and 11th graders deliver presentations regarding versatile global challenges. Furthermore, we invite guest speakers who are extensively active in international society to lead the lecture series.

For the English proficiency assessment examination, both Junior High School and Senior High School students take the GTEC for Students test. By sitting for this exam every year, students can track and understand the steady advancement of their individual English language proficiency.
