The 34th Sports Day

We held our Annual Sports Day on Saturday, May 23rd.
At our academy, students take the lead in planning and managing the Sports Day. Centering around the student-organized Sports Day Executive Committee, they explored the concept of "what makes a Sports Day uniquely Kumon." Despite being forced to alter schedules due to sudden inclement weather right before the event, they advanced their preparations and fulfilled their individual roles flawlessly so that every student could enjoy themselves to the absolute fullest on the day of the event.
The day was overcast with an unseasonably cold sky, but the students brought intense heat to the school grounds with their competitive events and cheers.
This year's overall champion was the Byakko (White Tiger) Team, and the runner-up was the Suzaku (Vermilion Bird) Team. The teams that won the top awards in each respective division are as follows:
Middle School Creative Performance: Genbu (Black Tortoise) Team
High School Creative Performance: Suzaku (Vermilion Bird) Team
Cheering: Suzaku (Vermilion Bird) Team
